About TIRIgogy
Concept
TIRIgogy was founded by Nurun Nahar, an Assistant Teaching Professor at the Greater Manchester Business School, in response to a need for offering and evidencing impactful professional development opportunities for academic staff at the University of Bolton. The name was designed keeping the University of Bolton’s Teaching Intensive Research Informed (TIRI) agenda at the heart of this professional development initiative that focuses on improving pedagogical practices of staff in a teaching focused role. Originally launched in September 2023 to support colleagues teaching on the subject disciplines of Management Studies, TIRIgogy CPD events are now available to all academic members of staff to engage with either as an attendee or a speaker (subject to an approval process).
